Artist Statement
My work explores the shifting nature of perspective—how we perceive, process, and assign meaning to the world around us. Through a blend of media, I investigate both the tangible and the intangible: the physical architecture of cities, the structures of thought, the sacred and the commercial, the stillness of a moment and the flow of time. I am drawn to the intersection of perception and experience—where ideology meets geometry, and memory becomes form.
Each collection I create stems from a desire to reinterpret the familiar. Whether through architectural line drawings or allegorical illustrations that merge Renaissance motifs with modern consumer culture, I aim to both honor and question the spaces we inhabit—both externally and internally. In In Between the Lines, I consider how humanity fits within and against manmade and organic landscapes. In Icons of Consumption, I reimagine cultural symbolism to explore what we worship in the age of image and commerce.
Art, to me, is not just a reflection of life—it is the container through which we express, imagine, remember, and reframe it. It is where our interior worlds meet the external, where solitude becomes structure, and where critique and care can coexist. My process is intuitive, research-driven, and often deeply personal—yet it strives to speak across language, culture, and time. Through texture, symbolism, and layered perspectives, I invite viewers into quiet tension: to slow down, to re-see, and to reflect on what we build, consume, and carry with us.
